Homework Tutoring

Homework help is available either at the end of Orton-Gillingham tutoring sessions or on separate days.  The student will be guided in using Orton-Gillingham learning strategies with homework assignments when appropriate.

Evidence-based Academic Intervention

The tutor implements interventions that have been researched and found to be effective.  Interventions can be added to homework tutoring sessions and are available for reading, writing, spelling, and math.  These are quick interventions and progress is monitored utilizing curriculum based measures (CBMs). A summary of the intervention along with the cited research will be provided.  In addition, a summary of data collection based on CBMs will be provided every 3 weeks.
